I'm so excited to have a Nordstrom's near us finally as there isn't good shopping otherwise. Nordstrom's has always provided excellent customer service. Jon Peacock in the women's shoe department is my go to person when I'm shopping for shoes. He's helpful, honest, and easy to talk to. He isn't pushy like the other sales people, which is a huge plus!
I would definitely go back.
I’d like to tell everyone about the spectacular customer service I received today from Nordstrom’s today. After having the most awful service at Boston Store and Macy’s yesterday, it was as welcome as a holiday present.
(It's my first time ever going here. Never heard of them prior. Walked in outta curiosity)
Excellent customer service. I couldn't find a size I needed for a product online. Sales person that was more than willing to help me order it from another store over the phone.
2. Many of the employee's are not dressed appropriately for a higher end department store. Someone should be enforcing the dress code.
Top notch customer service, I however feel you sometimes pay too much of a premium for this. However nowadays it seems worth it because it seems everywhere you go it's customer no service. I for one truly appreciate the help.
I personally like everything about this place. Someone was always around in every department willing to help. They have a huge selection and great variety.
There are two things that could improve though:
Can you match that Boston Store, where I had to wait in line 20 minutes just to get some information about an item????? No wonder you’re going out of business, while Nordstrom’s will survive as the epitome of good customer experience.
1. Increase the amount of inventory in the women's clothing and shoes department. There needs to be a wider variety as there is plenty of space to work with.
My 16 year old daughter bought some Calvin Klein intimates yesterday, and when we got home, she found out that the security tags weren’t removed. Of course, they’re made so there is no way to remove them without damaging the clothing. I called Nordstroms lingerie department this morning at 11:00, expecting to be told to bring the items back. I was even prepared to rant at the person telling me that. But instead, to my surprise, the saleswoman immediately said she would come to my home to remove the tags! I said she could come after work or when it was convenient, but she said, “oh no, customer satisfaction is most important to us.” I was dumbfounded. After she cleared this with her manager, she got my address and came out within a half hour. We talked a bit while she was removing the tags, and she was very friendly. We even gave each other a Holiday Hug!
