Went in looking for gym shoes/beginner running shoes. I was asked if I needed help within minutes of being there. After looking and not knowing what to buy, I went to leave and another employee asked what I was looking for in particular. I told her, and since I had no idea what to look for, they helped me find the right type of shoes and catered to me trying on many different pairs. They were so helpful and kind. I left the store to think about it and they kept the shoes for me that I was interested in on hold at the front desk. I ended up buying the shoes and they were exactly what I wanted and needed. Great service!!

Yesterday I drove to the House of Hoops Foot Locker at Mayfair Mall in hopes to by a pair of Jordans. It's about a 45 minute drive from my apartment in Kenosha. Arriving at around 7:00 in the morning I was pleased to see that there was no one waiting in front of the store. At around 8:30 one of the employees had arrived and a line had formed. Shortly after a gentlemen had walked to the door, called and was let in where he then bought 3 pairsn (1 being the pair that I was anticipating on purchasing) of shoes and left. At 9:45 there was quite a line and several employees working anticipating the release. The gentlemen at the door then was approached by several people in which appeared that he had knew and was friends or aquaintances with. One person in particular was a man waiting in line several spots behind me. He suddenly was at the front of the line with the employee working the door. I asked the employee about the shoes I was hoping to purchase. He told me that he was not sure if there was a "raffle ticket" system involved with this pair. Once we were let in I was informed that the shoe I was looking for was unable to be purchased because I did not have a ticket from the raffle. Very condescendingly the employee tried to explain that this was a system that they used to deal with past shoe releases to prevent problems. I turned to the man that was behind me in the line that was let in alongside me by the employee at the door and asked him if he was getting the same shoes and he said yes. The employee behind the register (Chris according to his name tag who may have been the manager) immediately responded by saying "that's because he has a ticket or is an employee".

Waking up early and taking a 45 minute drive to wait 3 hours for this to happen I feel cheated and extremely disappointed. This is exactly the problem with Jordan releases and the supposed "sneaker culture". Why is it that condescending and rude employees who manipulate supposed raffle systems are the people standing in the way of shoes? This is exactly what is wrong with the market and why Jordans are over priced.

Had the shoe i wanted

Bad Customer service. No one attentive. Not helpful. Didn't even bring me the shoe once they brought it out. I had to ask if my son could try them on first before they throw them by the register. The men including Caucasian manager who just continued with they're conversation while we needed assistance. Poor poor customer service.

I went with my son and I loved everything people were nice

If he had a ticket or was an employee then why was he waiting in line hours before just like me? Why did he get let in by the employee working the door skipping the number of people he was behind in line? Why was the one employee let in earlier than the opening to purchase his shoes? That can't be according to their "raffle system" or corporate protocol. If the first employee who arrived there saw me waiting hours before, don't you think the courteous thing to do would be to inform me that certain styles needed a ticket? Even once a line started to prevent problems, don't you think the numbers of staff would let them know what the deal was?
