So, I elected to give this location a chance in spite of all of the reviews that existed. Having done that, I can say this this was universally the worst experience I have ever had having my hair cut...is 1/2 a star an option?
Peggy at Great Clips has been my stylist for over 5 years and never a problem.
The experience began upon walking through the door when the man greeting me could barely operate the computer to log me in. From there we journeyed back to his chair where his station and equipment, to include his equipment was covered with other people's hair, to include his clippers and guards inside of his drawer (he blew them off with his mouth after pulling pieces out). As he cut my hair I have never been manhandled quite as forcefully as this man decided to do when moving my head. A highlight was that he elected to spin the chair with his knee; firmly enough to hit me in the back each time. I am still uncertain whether the coup de grace though was the fact that his clipper blades were dull and pulled at my hair though, or the fact that he neglected to blow off the clippings afterwards and let me walk out the door with all of my hair still stuck behind my ears.
Nice people but the dude that cut my hair clearly has never cut long hair before. I don't mind the cut, mostly because I don't care, but the dude had explained that he was going to put "layers" into my hair. All he did was just work his way around my head cutting my hair evenly. It took 5 minutes. I was kind of shocked. I know how to put layers into hair and he didnt once bring out a razor. It was a cheap-ish cut so I don't care that much, but not cheap enough for 5 minutes of basic scissor work that I could have my friends do.
Regardless, I can say with certainty that if you are looking for sub-par, slightly painful experience, then this is joint for you!
The online check in worked well. I suggest using it. All the stylists seemed very pleasant.
Came in for a simple hair cut, left with worst looking head of hair I've ever had. This is after almost an hour of the gentleman cutting my hair jabbing me with his clippers, literally ripping hair from my head, and trying to fix his mistakes so often that I left with less than half of the hair I wanted left on me. I should have trusted my instincts to never return after being sprayed in the face with cleaning solution the last time I was here. Now I have to spend twice as much to go somewhere else to have them fix this, as I did not trust them to do anything more during my visit.
