If it was possible to give this store a zero star review I would. I work in the technology field and while I have never been particularly impressed with Best Buy in general this store takes the cake for worst in class. They signed me up for a phone plan that I didn't want, didn't provide me with the plan documents, obviously didn't give me the phone. When I started getting welcome emails from the provider I called the provider and they told me that only the clowns in blue could undo their mistake. So when I called Best Buy customer service and explained my issue, they transferred me to a line where I could hear people talking in the background but nobody would answer the phone. This now requires me to waste further time to come back into this store to explain to Papa Smurf that Dimwitty Smurf made a mistake.
Beyond this bad experience the time spent in store is not pleasant. When shelling out hundreds on tech you like to have a nice buying experience. Here you will wait around for tens of minutes waiting for assistance. The employees are obviously overworked. The managers seemingly have no authority since they have to defer to their employees for certain tasks. Best buy elsewhere for your technical or A/V needs.
I don't come here by choice, but my husband brings me sometimes to see the cell phones when a new one comes out. He likes to play with the displays. But, 9 out of 10 times we visit, they don't even have the thing on display. This last time the high school employee dude at the store said they couldn't show it to him but they could sell it to him. Wait, what?
Came here to get a PS4, controller, game & dvd. Did buy it online ahead of time. Didn't have to wait too long to check out. I did get an unusually small bag for the size and number of items I purchased. It was the same size as a bag they'd put a single DVD in. Also bought my cordless Dyson here. Had a good experience.
We have never been more impressed with the whole process of buying something ever. We have worked with Alex Garrett for everything we have bought from Best Buy. We have referred many people to Alex Garrett, and everyone always tells us thank you for the hook up with Alex Garrett. He is a true Professional. Great asset to your company. Give this guy a raise.
I personally work at this location but if you want honest advice on what to get for your electronic needs this is the place. Best Buy spends thousands on training it's employees and has a continuous training program for it's employees to keep us up to snuff on our knowledge. Most of us, if not all of us will admit when we don't know something so if we redirect you to someone else that is why. We have several zones that we have specialists in and there are a few of us that are good in multiple areas. Also, we price match at your request. We do have the ability to research all our competitors using a proprietary software. It sometimes goes down when the company is working on it but when it's live it's a time saver. All in all after working here for 5+ years best buy set the bar for my shopping experiences and work experience. I recently got a new full time job and I see flaws in the company that best buy perfected. So for anyone looking for advice, a deal or a fun place to work I feel like we have the solution for you at Best buy.
