I was so pleased to find a vet that takes his time, presented all options, and is not part of a corporation trying to sell me something! Dr. Paul is great and the staff are stellar!
I recently took my dog in for a non-routine exam, and it was my first visit to the clinic. Dr. Habriga and his staff provided thorough veterinary care every step of way. Dr. Habriga offered me multiple treatment options for my dog, being mindful of my dog's health and the cost of treatment. He listened to my concerns, and he helped me weigh my options. I could tell that he genuinely cared about her condition, and his treatment and go-home instructions were effective. Shana, the receptionist, fielded the many questions that I had with patience and understanding, and Nicole, the veterinary assistant, was ready to help at every turn. I highly recommend Hardwood Veterinary Hospital and Dr. Habriga, who is now my dog's regular veterinarian.
Having moved to Wauwatosa in May, 2017 I was looking for a new veterinarian for my two dogs. The younger of the two has several ongoing medical issues which pop up from time to time. Dr. Paul Habriga was great with both my dogs. He was fully up to date on their medical histories (from forwarded medical records received just two days prior to the appointment). His manner and approach with the dogs was gentle and patient, and he fully explained options for treatment, as well as different ways to full the prescription that resulted in a sizeable savings for me. The office is convenient off of Harwood Blvd/Watertown Plank Road. If you park in the back, where the clinic is located, you can make use of the traffic signal to turn left. So it's an easy in and easy out situation. I am looking forward to a long professional association with Dr. Habriga and Harwood Veterinary Hospital.
